Frequently Asked Questions

What is "Type Approval" and why is it important?
Type Approval is a certification from a classification society (like DNV or ABS) that verifies a pump’s design, materials, and performance meet their stringent standards for marine use.
For seawater applications, Nickel-Aluminium Bronze (Ni-Al-Bronze) is the superior choice due to its excellent resistance to corrosion, erosion, and biofouling. For less critical applications, standard Marine Bronze can be used.

Yes. We can supply our pumps with motors that match all standard marine electrical systems, including 380V/50Hz, 440V/60Hz, 690V/60Hz, and others upon request.
