Mining & Slurry Pump Advantages

Our pumps are over-engineered with robust features specifically designed to extend wear life and simplify maintenance in harsh mining conditions.

Main Technical Specifications

Pump Types:Horizontal Slurry, Vertical Sump, etc.
Materials:High-Chrome White Iron, Natural Rubber, etc.
Solids Handling: Up to 6 inches (150 mm)
Max. Head:Up to 330 feet (100 meters)
Max. Flow Rate: Up to 30,000 GPM (6,800 m³/h)

Maximize Production Tonnage

Our pumps run longer between maintenance intervals, keeping your processing plant operational and maximizing your valuable output.

Reduce Cost Per Ton Pumped

Superior wear life and high efficiency mean fewer rebuilds, less power consumption, and a lower total cost of ownership over the pump's life.

Extend Maintenance Cycles

Utilizing superior metallurgy and hydraulics, our pumps are proven to extend wear life, allowing for longer, more predictable maintenance schedules.

Enhance On-Site Safety

Robust construction and reliable operation reduce the frequency of high-risk maintenance tasks and prevent dangerous, unexpected failures.

FAQS

Frequently Asked Questions

How does slurry density (Specific Gravity) affect pump selection?
Higher density slurry requires significantly more motor power to move the same volume. We must accurately account for the slurry’s Specific Gravity when sizing the motor to prevent overload and ensure the pump can achieve the required head pressure.
As the impeller wears, the clearance between it and the throatbush increases, causing performance to drop. Our external adjustment mechanism allows your crew to easily move the entire bearing assembly forward, restoring the original clearance and regaining performance without needing to disassemble the pump.
No, centrifugal slurry pumps cannot run dry. This will cause the mechanical seal or gland packing to overheat and fail rapidly. For applications with intermittent flow, a vertical sump pump, which keeps the bearing and seal out of the liquid, or a system with proper level controls is required.
