Pump Structure
The horizontal single-stage centrifugal pump is primarily composed of four main assemblies: stator, rotor, bearings, and shaft seal.
1. Stator Section
Includes the suction, intermediate, and discharge stages, along with the guide vanes. These are fastened together using tightening bolts to form a sealed working chamber.
2. Rotor Section
Comprises the shaft, impellers, balancing disc, and shaft sleeve. Axial forces are neutralized by the balancing disc, ensuring smooth rotation.
3. Bearings
Each unit includes a bearing housing, bearings, and bearing cover. Bearings are lubricated using grease or thin oil to maintain stable performance and reduce wear.
4. Shaft Seal
Uses a soft packing seal consisting of a sealing envelope, packing rings, and a water-deflecting ring to prevent leakage and maintain reliable operation.
The CM horizontal pump is directly driven by a prime mover through an elastic coupling, offering efficient energy transmission and smooth startup.
